2. An estimator can do a live video call with you via Facetime or WhatsApp and you walk around the property with us on the other end of the phone showing what needs to be moved.

The truth is, in order to give you an accurate quote, we send out a qualified estimator who is trained to assess the specifics of your move. They will consider factors such as vehicles, staff, and the services you require to provide you with the most precise estimate possible.

We refrain from providing price estimates over the phone based on a list of goods to be moved. This is because such an approach may lead to inadequate vehicle and staff allocation, which could result in a stressful move. Instead, we aim to provide our customers with a personalized one-to-one service, allowing us to establish a connection with them and provide customized solutions tailored to their specific needs. This helps us ensure we offer the best service possible.

A live video call is a real-time communication between Three counties moves and yourself through video technology. It allows people who are not in the same physical location to see and hear each other as if they were in the same room. Live video calls can be made using various devices such as smartphones or tablets, we ask you to go into each room you will need to inform us of any items that have conditions that we need to know about, extra heavy, extra fragile etc. You will also need to tell us which, if any, items may need dismantling and/or re assembling by ourselves.

Most quotes are sent via email on the same day of the request. However, if you don’t have an email address, we can also mail a copy of the quotation to you.

We have got that taken care of too! On the day of your move, we will carefully place all your hanging garments into our waterproof plastic wardrobe boxes. You can rest easy knowing your belongings are well cared for.

We are pleased to offer waterproof mats and Specialist Carpet Wrap in the areas where they are needed.

The answer is no, if the drawers do not contain breakable items and are not excessively heavy. Our removal team can take out the drawers and put them back in once the base is safely loaded onto the vehicle. Keep in mind that the unit must be sturdy enough to manage this process.

We offer packing materials for sale. Upon receiving your quote via email, a link will be included in the message to purchase boxes. If you received your quote via post, simply call our office and one of our team members will process your order for delivery.

Containerized storage varies from self-storage in that your items are enclosed within a container and stored alongside other containers in a warehouse. This approach guarantees the safety of your belongings but accessing them is not as straightforward. You can schedule access ahead of time, allowing us to locate and prepare your container for you. However, a preliminary fee might be required to facilitate this request.

Combustible or flammable materials or liquids such as gas, paint, petrol, oil, batteries or illegal firearms and weapons; explosives & ammunition; chemicals, radioactive materials, biological agents; Toxic waste, asbestos or other materials of a potentially dangerous nature; Any item which emits fumes, smell or Odor; any illegal substances, illegal items or goods illegally obtained; any living creatures; compressed gasses. Jewellery and securities cannot be moved or placed in storage, as they are not covered by our insurance policy. Please see our Terms and Conditions.

In regard to the delivery of your storage items, kindly provide a 14-day notice to allow us ample time to make arrangements. It’s important to note that re-delivery is subject to our availability. If we cannot re-deliver on your preferred date, we will inform you of our next closest availability.

We will send you an invoice for the initial month’s storage after placing your goods into storage. Subsequently, you will receive monthly invoices, except in cases where you are having your goods delivered from the store mid-month, where a final balance invoice will be issued.

If parking is limited outside your property or there are restrictions, you should contact your local council and request a parking suspension. We are happy to help you determine how much space and time is needed to complete your removal. Any parking fines incurred will be added to your final bill and must be paid by you. Alternatively, we can organize the suspension for you at your expense.

We won’t ask for any payment until you’ve confirmed a set date. To secure the date, we require a 30% deposit. As your move approaches, the final balance must be paid five working days before the move commences. We accept bank transfer, over the phone payment, or cash

We take all necessary precautions to ensure the protection of your items. We come equipped with Tv bags, Sofa bags, Mattress bags and an abundance of blankets to safeguard all items that are not packed in boxes.

Certainly, we can arrange that for you. Please note that there may be an additional charge to cover the extra staff and resources required.

Our team of experienced staff is equipped with specialist equipment to move all types of pianos, from uprights to grands.

The standard storage containers are constructed of timber and measure 7 feet by 5 feet with a height of 8 feet. The interior of the container can accommodate up to 250 cubic feet of goods, approximately the size of a small van. Once loaded, the containers are sealed, and your possessions are not handled again until they are delivered to their final destination.

Rest assured that we take the same precautions as we do when transport your items from your old home to your new one. Our team uses specialized coverings to protect all your furniture, including mattresses, sofas, and TVs.

Your goods are completely insured during both the removal and storage process.

If you require dismantling and reassembly services for your furniture, please make sure to mention it during the quotation stage. Unless previously agreed upon, we expect all items to be dismantled and ready to go before our staff arrive as promised. This ensures that the proper equipment and time is provided to meet your needs. If it is included in the quote, our team will handle the dismantling and reassembling.

Yes, we can this will need to be discussed with the estimator when they carry out the assessment of your home. We will empty your loft as long as it is safe to do so. The access to the loft must have a fixed staircase or ladder, be properly floored and have lighting. If any of these conditions are not met then you will have to empty the loft before the removal van arrives.

Our crew will be at your property between 8-830am on the day of the move.

Once you’ve unpacked your belongings, if you’ve relocated locally, we can arrange to collect them for you. If you have moved a long distance, consider recycling them wherever possible. Another option is to list the boxes on social media, so that someone else can make use of them.
